2025 Youth Field Day
Youth Field Day will be held August 2, 2025
Registration opens June 2, 2025 at 5:00 PM
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFO: Our registration process will be via the link provided. Registration opens June 2nd at 5:00pm and has historically filled to capacity in 60 minutes or less. Please be prepared to enter the registration with information including names, addresses, phone, VALID email, date of birth, t-shirt sizes, and if the child shoots right or left handed. Once you receive a successful registration confirmation, you will be provided a release form via pdf that will need to be printed, signed, and MAILED in by USPS along with a copy of the child’s birth certificate, which must be received by July 1, 2025. Please DO NOT email these documents. Registration is not complete until these documents have been received. You will NOT be notified unless your child’s information is still missing as of July 1.
The 32nd Clarion County Youth Field Day was a huge success! We can’t wait for this year!
The 2025 Youth Field Day will be held, once again, at the Fryburg Sportsmen’s Club Farm. The 33 rd Annual Youth Field Day Event will be held Saturday, August, 2, 2025.
Youth Field day is a daylong event for kids ages 8-12 years old and was designed to introduce them to activities in the outdoors. Some of the events include trout fishing, boating safety, archery, trapping, wild game tasting, firearm safety, and shooting sports including shotguns, .22 rifles, and muzzleloaders. All events are non-competitive and stress safety and appreciation of the outdoors. Not only do kids participate in 15 hands-on events, but hats, event t-shirts, lunch and door prizes are provided at no cost to the kids or their families.

Advanced Instruction Clinic: FISHING
JUNE 28, 2025
CCSFY will be hosting an Advanced Instruction Clinic in FISHING on June 28, 2025 at Clear Creek State Park for 30 kids age 12-18. The clinic is aimed at teaching youth various fishing techniques including flyfishing, spin fishing and fish identification and patterns. The event will consist of both instruction and hands-on learning. Topics to be covered include: Fly fishing, Fly tying, Spin fishing, Rod rigging, fish identification, baits, kick netting, seasons and patterning, and other fishing topics as well.
The FREE event will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 8:00am-1:00 pm at Clear Creek State Park, Shelter #2. Brunch will be provided. Tackle boxes and basic lures will be provided for attendees. Reels and supplies will be provided for use by Trout Unlimited, Iron Furnace chapter.
A chaperone must accompany the children under 16 to the event. A parental liability release will need to be downloaded upon successful registration. The release should be printed, completed, and mailed to us prior to the event.
Only 30 registrations will be accepted. Those applicants who are not successful in the first round of registration will be added to the waitlist in case a spot becomes available prior to the event.
Interested Youth under 12 or over 18 can email youthfieldday@gmail.com to be added to a waitlist and will be contacted if spots remain open for the event.
Fundraising Banquet

Our annual Fundraising Banquet will again be held at Clarion University/PennWest Eagle Commons Dining Hall.
Doors will open at 4pm, dinner at 6pm.
Individual ticket price $TBD, Table Sponsor $1000 (with added benefits and raffle opportunities)

Raffles featuring MADE IN AMERICA items, 90+guns, sporting goods, etc. Bucket raffle, card games, 50-50s, live auction, hand gun raffles and more!!
